Fluctuations in weight, growing older, and heredity can cause your upper arms to have a drooping, sagging appearance.

An arm lift is used to remove the excess skin and fat from the upper arms. The incision extends along the inside of the upper arm from the elbow to the underarm.

Healing: Dressings or bandages may be applied to your incisions, and your arms may be wrapped in an elastic bandage or compression garment to help minimize swelling. It is important that the surgical incisions not be subjected to excessive force, swelling, abrasion, or motion during the time of healing.
